Based in Plano, Texas, JP Staples is a student at Florida Atlantic University pursuing a degree in finance. He also engages with the Texas Real Estate Commission, pursuing his real estate sales/brokers license. JP Staples graduated from Plano West Senior High School in 2021.

JP Staples has accumulated work experience. In the summer of 2025, he served as an intern at Regency Centers in Dallas, where he assisted with leasing, developing, and investing in properties. It gave him an understanding of how cross-functional collaboration drove successful projects. He also completed a capital markets fellowship at CBRE.

In 2024, JP Staples completed a two-month development internship at Holiday Beach Homes. He assisted with pro forma analysis, investor presentations, and property showings while gaining insight into HVAC systems, floor plans, and interior design. JP Staples also served as a ranch manager at Double J&B Ranch in Cisco, Texas. He assisted in the acquisition and development of 200 acres. He gained experience in budgeting for feed, equipment, and labor, as well as in maintaining ranch equipment, including tractors and irrigation systems.

Moreover, in 2023, JP Staples supported sales and project management teams at Builders First Source, contributing to more than 30 construction projects. His leadership foundation stems from his time at Lekka Gifts and Café in Dallas, where he was a manager in 2022, overseeing daily operations and staff performance. His hobbies include playing golf, hunting, and fishing.
